The four-protruding official hat chair, originating from the Ming Dynasty in China, is a typical example of Ming-style furniture. Its design is simple yet meticulously crafted, with well-proportioned dimensions.  This huanghuali four-protruding official hat chair appears plain but is full of ingenuity, with every detail meticulously considered.  The key features lie not in decoration but in the fine and intricate construction.  The slender and curved components must be made from thick wood to achieve their delicate form.  Originally, this chair could have been made quite robust, but on the basis of maintaining its large size, the craftsmen spared no effort to refine it into a slender and graceful shape.  Another structural feature is that the front and back legs are made from a single piece of wood, with the back leg extending directly to connect with the headboard, while the front leg supports the swan neck.  The design is simple yet meticulously crafted, with well-proportioned dimensions.  It appears plain but is full of ingenuity, with every detail meticulously considered.  It makes full use of the language of form, with lines that alternate between straight and curved, blending squareness with roundness.  The treatment of the headboard is gentle and soft, without sharp angles, yet clearly defined; the handling of the four protrusions is clean and precise, showcasing a harmonious balance of strength and suppleness.  At the same time, this chair fully leverages the advantages of huanghuali wood, which is hard and smooth, with colors neither too static nor too vibrant, and patterns appearing or disappearing, lively and varied.  This design concept of Ming-style furniture embodies the Chinese aesthetic principle of mutual enhancement between movement and stillness, strength and suppleness, where nothing surpasses what exists.
